Sean Flanigan Workshop

Earlier this week I attended a workshop put on by Sean Flanigan, a photographer whose work I’ve admired for years for his honest, high-impact imagery. The workshop was a one-day intensive focusing on making art and the heart behind it. I came away feeling reward, inspired, and ready to really push myself in 2010. The subject matter ran really deep and I find myself still working through all the tough stuff Sean threw at us. He made me think deeply about my art, about my client relations, and about breaking through fears. It was all really profound and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend. The talent there was amazing and I came away with some wonderful new friends.

The workshop wasn’t focused on shooting, but I did manage to snap a few of the day’s happenings.

Special thanks to Heather Gilson for her presentation. I can stop looking at her beautiful work.
